Alternative Therapy
A useful supplement to diagnosis and treatment.
A useful supplement to diagnosis and treatment.
As alternative practitioners, we are able to identify physical and psychological problems and perform an appropriate form of therapy. Our diagnostic and therapeutic methods often originate from natural or alternative medicine. These can be procedures from conventional, naturopathic medicine, or so-called holistic procedures.
During autohaemotherapy, a small amount of blood is taken from the patient’s vein. Depending on the medical findings, the blood will be used unaltered, or mixed with homeopathic remedies, pure oxygen or medical ozone, and then injected back into the gluteal muscle or skin. Effect:
Following a spell outside the body, the patient’s own blood will be treated by the body as „foreign“, causing an immune reaction and stimulating the body’s own defense system.
Medical indications for autohaemotherapy:
In a wheals treatment, a medication, usually a local anasthaetic (e.g. lidocaine) or a homeopathic medication (e.g. Traumeel) is injected directly under the skin into the pain. This promotes an alleviation of pain and local circulation.
Symptoms of a food intolerance can include the following:
Developmental problems (in children)
It is important to know the difference between a food allergy and a food intolerance.
If you have a food allergy, your immune system overreacts. If you have an intolerance, the body is unable to absorb and process certain foods. The symptoms are usually slower and less obvious than with an allergy. The sufferer is usually unaware of the intolerance and does not connect the symptoms with his/her diet.
Treatment:
Generally speaking, the incompatible food must not always be completely removed from the menu. In the vast majority of cases, it should be enough to reduce the quantity consumed, in order to find your own personal tolerance limit.
Acupuncture comes from traditional Chinese medicine and has been employed for around 3000 years. The theory is based on the body’s vital energy (Qi), which circulates around certain pathways or meridians, and has directing influence on all bodily functions. An impaired flow of energy is held responsible for illnesses.
Through inserting needles at certain acupuncture points along the meridians, the flow of Qi should be repaired. Acupressure has the same therapeutic aim, but a dull pressure is additionally applied on the acupuncture points.
By using cupping therapy, inner organs can be influenced and treated via the pressure created on the skin’s surface. The process can be used to relieve or stimulate the body/organism. Used specifically, cupping therapy can often eradicate certain ailments.
Effects of cupping therapy:
Along sections of the vertebrae are nerve fibres, which not only connect to individual organs, but also to certain areas of the skin (Head Zones). By treating these areas of skin, positive effects can be seen on related organs.
